Becca qualified with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2012 from the University of East Anglia. She completed a variety of general rotations before following her passion and specialising in the field of neurology in 2014, initially at University Hospital, Lewisham before moving to the renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in 2017. Becca has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of neurological conditions including stroke, ataxia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, vestibular and neuromuscular disorders, from acute inpatient management to longer term outpatient and community rehabilitation.
Becca has completed training in the Bobath Concept, PD Warrior and Vestibular rehabilitation and has experience with use of functional electrical stimulation, orthotics, taping and splinting to complement rehabilitation. She has a specialist interest in upper limb and long-term neurorehabilitation and currently works on the NHNN intensive upper limb rehabilitation programme and runs the shoulder pain clinic, as well as promoting the benefits of exercise and movement to all neurological patients through her work with Neuro Heroes. Becca joined the Cambridge Neuro-Physiotherapy team in 2023.
Becca is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, the Association for Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR). She is registered with the HCPC.
